Do you work the Graveyard Shift?

Halloween might be over for another year, but I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with having to work the "graveyard shift." What do I mean? Well, it means working late at night (when most people - other than ghosts (!) are asleep.

I know a lot of my A&E doctors I've taught are used to working different shift patterns, and I'm sure your patients are the same.

Why not do a bit of homework for your OET reading subtest by reading about the effects shiftwork can have on our body and mental well-being. You can read various articles on the NICE website.

And feel free to get in touch with your thoughts and stories and any hints on how you can get by.
